Quasar Thakore Padamsee (born 20th August,1978) is an
India nstage actor turnedtheatre director . Both his parentsAlyque Padamsee andDolly Thakore were renowned stage actors and his mother was a casting director for theAcademy Award winning film "Gandhi" in 1982. His father played the role of Jinnah in the same movie.He studied English Literature at St. Xavier's College in Mumbai. Since 1999, he has directed and produced over 20 plays with his theatre company Q Theatre Productions which is based in
Mumbai . He also works as a stage manager and lighting designer for the theatre productions. He is also the Assistant Director of Tim Supple's "A Midsummer Night's Dream".Plays produced in Mumbai by Quasar Padamsee include "The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail", "Minorities", "All My Sons", and "The Urban Burden".
