Sailing at the 1952 Summer Olympics - 6 metre class

The 6 metre class was one of five sailing events held as part of the Sailing at the 1952 Summer Olympics programme. It was the tenth and last appearance of this event.

Races were held off the coast of Harmaja.

The Finnish boat "Ralia" is the former Swedish boat "Ali Baba". The boats "Llanoria", "Djinn", "Ralia", and "Ciocca II" did also compete in the 1948 competition.

Herman Whiton won his second gold medal as helmsman of the American "Llanoria".
