Edmund Załęski

Edmund Załęski (August 18, 1863 in Lviv (Lemberg), Austria-Hungary – December 1932 in Kraków) was a Polish chemist, agrotechnician, plant breeder. He was a professor of Agricultural University of Dublany, professor (since 1918) and rector of Jagiellonian University (1930–1931).

Załęski created new, valuable varieties of wheat and sugar beet. Author of "Metodyka doświadczeń rolniczych" [Methodology of agricultural experiments] (1927).
