Roger Ruskin Spear (born
29 June 1943 inHammersmith, West London ), the son ofRuskin Spear , was a founding member of theBonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band , staying with it until its end. Roger's son "Professor" Justin Spear has a regular slot in the Stuart Maconie 'Freak Zone' show on BBC6 Music on a Sunday evening where he delves into the weird and wonderful world of European jazz (among other things).After the band broke up, he continued as a
performance artist with his robots in a show called "Kinetic Wardrobe". A feature of this was a tailor's dummy fitted with proximity switches, which produced increasingly high-pitched screams when a hand neared its chest. He was also a member and co-founder ofBill Posters Will Be Band .Roger Ruskin Spear teaches at the
