US Department of State Foreign Affairs Manual

The Foreign Affairs Manual is published by the United States Department of State and can be accessed on the State Department's web site. It contains the functional statements, organizational responsibilities, and authorities of each of the major components of the U.S. Department of State.

Together, they comprise the basic organizational directive of the State Department.
