Siberia , mainly inKoryak Okrug . It is mostly a language spoken byKoryaks . Its close relative, theChukchi language , is spoken by about twice that number. The language together with Chukchi, Kerek, Alutor and Itelmen forms the Chukotko-Kamchatkan language family. It's name in koryak is нымылан, Nymylan, but the name imposed by the russians is the most common.The Chukchi and Koryaks form a cultural unit with an economy based on
