Pietro Paolo Agabito (active 1511-1531) was an Italian painter, sculptor, and architect. He was born at
Sassoferrato . His style was influenced by the Venetian school, and his works are executed in the manner ofLorenzo Lotto . The churches of Sassoferrato contain several of his works, among them "Virgin between St. Catharine and John the Baptist" (1511). He painted an altar-piece for the church of the Padri Riformati, nearJesi , representing the "Virgin with the Infant". He died atMassaccio .References
