"Top of the World" is the name of a Country music studio album, released by legendary Country singer, Lynn Anderson in 1973.

This was one of Lynn Anderson's most successful albums of her career. The album was named after her big 1973 hit, "Top of the World". Anderson's version was later interpreted by The Carpenters later that year, who transformed the song into a No. 1 Pop hit. Anderson's version was a No. 2 Country hit, and a No. 74 Pop hit. People often speculate that the song could have climbed higher on the Pop charts to become a big hit for Anderson if The Carpenters did not release their version of the song. The song had been written by Richard Carpenter anyway. The album and single were certified "Gold" by the RIAA in 1973. This was one of 17 Gold albums by Lynn Anderson.

This album also produced one other single, "Sing About Love". "Sing About Love" was only released to the Country charts, where it hit No. 3 and was very successful. There is a lot of cover versions included on this album, all from around the year it came out, including Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly With His Song", Anne Murray's "Danny's Song", and even Vicki Lawrence's "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia". Other songs in here are new material, including "Fickel Fortune", a song written by Anderson's mother Liz Anderson, an award-winning Country music songwriter. Being this album was so successful, it reached No. 7 on the "Top Country Albums" chart and No. 179 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This would be Anderson's last entry on the Billboard 200.
