Kim Bridgeford

Kim Bridgford is an award-winning poet, Professor of English at Fairfield University since 1989; Editor of and the 2007 Connecticut Poetry Circuit Poet. Bridgford is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, and has written three books of poetry:
*"Undone" (Wordtech Communications, April 2003)), which was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize;
*"Instead of Maps" (Wordtech Communications, May 1, 2005), which was nominated for the Poets' Prize; and
*"In the Extreme: Sonnets about World Records" (Contemporary Poetry Review Press; First edition, June 5, 2007), for which she won the 2007 Donald Justice Poetry Award sponsored by the Iris N. Spencer Poetry Awards at the West Chester University Poetry Center.
