Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) is an engineering college in Pune, India. Established in 1983, it is affiliated to the University of Pune. The school is financed and run by the Bansilal Ramanath Agrawal Charitable Trust. The current principal is Prof. H. K. Abhyankar.The college has attained auntonomous status from the year 2008-09.It is the first private college in India to do so.
The college is situated in the Bibwewadi area of Pune.

According to the VIT web site, more than 126 companies recruit their students.The highest package offered till now to a campus recruit is 16lakh/annum.
