The PM-1 pressurized-water reactor was built as part of the US
Army Nuclear Power Program (ANPP) to develop small pressurized water and boiling water nuclear power reactors for use in remote sites.PM-1 went critical at Sundance, Wyoming, on Feb. 25, 1962.
