In 2008, Watrin left the band, citing lack of interest as a major reason.

Career and Early life
From a very young age, Watrin had studied both music and dance at school. groups.[2] During his time as a student, he became cast in the reality television show Big in America, and subsequently received a place in the five-piece band US5. Although claiming that his parents were skeptical about his joining the band, he decided to leave education to focus on US5 completely.
Before taking part in US5, Watrin had already been offered a record deal at the age of 14, but due to a combination of youthful inexperience and parent pressure, turned the offer down.
Personal life
Watrin enjoys many types of music, and was part of a gospel choir before joining US5.[3] When not working, he plays sports such as volleyball and surfing, and spends time working on photography also.[4] Waltrin is a natural blond with natural blue/green eyes, but highlights his hair regularly. He once stated in a magazine interview that fame made him arrogant and that it is hard for him to trust people, as he fears that "they just see the Chris Watrin of US5, not the real me".
In August 2008, Chris decided to leave the band[5] citing health problems and a diagnosis of Burnout syndrome as the main issues.[6] He wasn`t currently working on solo material, since he stated that he would never make music ever again. In addition to this, a recent issue of Bravo magazine, claimed that he has changed his name to 'Matthias' and is now studying at a university in Berlin. It also had a quote from Chris Watrin who stated that being in US5 has 'destroyed' his life.[7][8] Despite the statements do not show up on the scene Christoph appeared in advertising car in March,2010. A year later Berlin has heard about brand new band, which is called StadtkinT. " I will follow my heart, will fight and will affect! Each experience is my food, which home conducts me." That`s why now Christopher / text, Felix / guitar and Christoph / music are working on the debut material for their own band.[9][10][11]
