The Sandpebbles

The Sandpebbles were an American R&B vocal group comprised of Calvin White, Andrea Bolden, and Lonzine Wright. [Joel Whitburn, "The Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits". 7th edn, 2000] They recorded for Calla Records, and had one hit in the U.S., "Love Power", which hit #14 on the Billboard Black Singles chart in 1967 and #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart the following year. They remain archetypical one-hit wonders.
