Lynn Lowry (born
October 15 ,1947 inIllinois ) is an American actress, raised inAtlanta, Georgia . Her real name is Linda Kay Lowry. Her first film appearance was "I Drink Your Blood " in 1970. She appeared in two key 1970shorror films ,George A. Romero 's "The Crazies " in 1973 andDavid Cronenberg 's "Shivers" in 1974, followed by a sixteen-month role as the adulterer-cum-heroine Sandra on NBC's short-livedsoap opera "How to Survive a Marriage ", as well as a brief part on the daytime serial "Another World".Lowry was also one of the two female leads in
Radley Metzger 's film "Score" (1973). She and Carl Parker are also the only actors from the film who are still alive as of 2007.She moved to Los Angeles in the early 1980s and has recently been singing folk and show tunes with her band.
She has several films due for release in 2008-9: Splatter Disco, Psychosomatika, Beyond the Dunwich Horror, Basement Jack, Torture Chamber, and Schism, which she co-wrote and co-produced.
