- The Flow
The Flow is an album by
Chris Leslie .This album is mostly instrumental. Although Chris Leslie is best known for his
fiddle playing inFairport Convention , these cuts sound nothing like Fairport. Some of it sounds like music of Thailand or Tibet, and other parts sound jazzy or new age. Perhaps the Scottish band "Shooglenifty" are the nearest reference point. It has a shimmering, slightly hestitant quality to it.Running time 42 minutes 44 seconds. Recorded at Woodworm Studios, Oxfordshire 1997. Tracks 2 and 6 produced by Simon Mayor. Other tracks produced by Tim Healey. Released on CD in 1997.
