This top shell is found at depths of between 100 and 130 m.
hell description
The shell is large and solid, sculptured with numerous spiral cords. These cords are prominently granose over the upper part of the spire whorls and again, encircling the callus-filled umbilicus, but those in between are mostly smooth.
The external shell coloration is pink, which is a darker shade between the granules.
The shell height is up to 51 mm, and width is up to 51 mm.
