University of Central Florida and is the home of theUCF Knights baseball team. It was originally built in 2001 as a state of the art facility, featuring an indoor training facility with three batting cages and two pitching mounds. The facility was named after the former head coach of the team,Jay Bergman . However, UCF fired Jay Bergman on May 1, 2008 for sexual harassment towards a male equipment coach. It is unknown at this time whether UCF will retain Jay Bergman's name on their baseball stadium. For more information, see http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/orl-ucfcoach0308may03,0,2644358.story
