Beaver's musical career began when he appeared on his father's
television show in Atlanta, Georgia, when he was 5 years old and he sang "River of Memory".His only hit "I Got a Rocket in my Pocket" is now a collector's item. It is listed in several record collector's price guides, including Jerry Osborne's "Rockin' Records" and L.R. Docks "Record Collectors Price Guide". An original copy of the
gramophone record is now worth between $35 and $50, depending on condition.The track was re-issued in 1997 in
Germany , on a various artists CD called "Rocket Ship" (Buffalo Bop - Bb-CD 55052). The CD was made in Germany but it is available bymail order from several companies. Beaver to have his own CD released soon, that would include this and other records he has made over the years.Beaver has appeared on stage with many famous entertainers including
The Duprees ,Faron Young ,Johnny Maestro (The Crests ,Brooklyn Bridge ) andBuck Owens .As a recording and
concert audio engineer he has worked with many artists includingEmmylou Harris ,Tom T. Hall ,The Righteous Brothers ,Carl Perkins ,Ray Charles , andHoyt Axton . He was the studio engineer for Tom T. Hall's, Toyboxrecording studio inBrentwood, Tennessee , for almost 3 years.Beaver has also been associated with several films, both as an
actor , and as a crew member. His movie credits include "J.D. And The Salt Kid" withSlim Pickens , "Elvis" withKurt Russell asElvis Presley , and "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia " withDennis Quaid .Beaver had his own local TV show in
Chattanooga, Tennessee for about four years called "The Stan Beaver Show". He now has his ownrecording studio where he is working on a newgospel music project for his ownrecord label , and planning a project ofRockabilly music featuring mostly original material that he has written.Beaver now resides in
