This top shell is found at depths of between 90 and 130 m.
hell description
The shell is large, thin and tall-spired, with convex whorls, sculptured with very numerous fine gemmulate spiral cords.
The external shell coloration is buff, faintly speckled with light brown between the gemmules.
The shell height is up to 54 mm, and the width is up to 50 mm.
