hell description
The shell of this species is of moderate size, solid, similar to "
Calliostoma punctulatum ", but narrower, with a very tall spire, straight outlines, and more numerous whorls, with only six granose spiral cords.The external shell coloration is yellowish-brown, with the spiral cords being dark reddish-brown between whitish gemmules.
The shell height is up to 32 mm, and the width is up to 26 mm.
