Haster

Haster

Haster is a somewhat double-centred area in Caithness, in the Highland area of Scotland. The location now well known as Haster is just west of the Bridge of Haster (gbmappingsmall|ND327512), which carries the main road linking the burghs of Wick and Thurso (the A882-A9) over Achairn Burn, about four kilometres west of Wick and about eight kilometres east of Watten. An older centre is about one kilometre to the south.
