Brandon Anthony Middleton (born January 2, 1981 in city-state|Waterloo|Iowa) is an American football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He was signed by the Dallas Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Houston.

Middleton has also been a member of the St. Louis Rams.

Early years

Middleton was a letterman in football and track.

Professional career

Detroit Lions

Due to an injury of starting wide receiver Roy Williams late in the 2007 season, Middleton saw increased playing time. On December 15, 2007 in a game against the San Diego Chargers, Middleton caught his first career touchdown on a pass from quarterback Jon Kitna.

Middleton was released by the Lions during final cuts on August 30, 2008. He was re-signed on September 9 after tight end Dan Campbell was placed on injured reserve.
