DEEKAY

DEEKAY is Danish production/songwriting team founded by Lars Halvor Jensen, Martin Michael Larsson with other members Tim McEwan, Obi and Josh. [http://www.discogs.com/artist/Deekay DEEKAY at Discogs] The name DEEKAY comes from the acronym dk, which means Denmark. DEEKAY have written and produced for artists like Mando, Method Man, Alsou, Fat Joe, Styles P, Gia Farrell, Mis-Teeq and others.

From 2004-2005, they worked with UK boy-band Blue, writing and producing hit singles "Breathe Easy" and "Bubblin'" (UK top 4 & top 9) propelling the "Guilty" .

In 2006 DEEKAY penned first single "It's Not That Easy" for UK soul artist Lemar, a single which reached #2 on the official UK airplay chart.

In 2007, they co-wrote and produced the title track for the Sugababes album, "Change"

In 2008 they produced two tracks on American Idol Judge Randy Jackson's upcoming album, "Randy Jackson's Music Club, Vol. 1" including the first single "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" featuring Paula Abdul.
