Wallowa Lake is a
ribbon lakeone mile (1.6 km) south of Joseph, Oregon, United States. It was formed by glaciationapproximately nine million years ago. It is about five miles long and one mile wide, with a depth of 283 feet. It has been used for recreation since at least 1880.
Wallowa Lake State Parkis at the southern tip of the lake.
