Early life
Juan Stopper Sanchez, was born in Camagüey, Cuba, in 1941.From 1960 to 1962 studied at the
Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas "San Alejandro" Havana. Later he did art studies in the Escuela Nacional de Arte(E.N.A) Havana, CubaIndividual Exhibitions
In 1964 he presented a personal exhibition in the Galería Provincial de Camagüey, Cuba. In 1968 he made "Stopper. Gouaches, Drawings and Lithographies". Gallery of Havana and in 1983 exposes " “Juan Stopper. Black Mysticism” ". Latin Intar American Gallery, New York, U.S.A. In 1984 his art exhibited in the Museum of African Americans, Buffalo, New York, U.S.A. In 1990 presented "Juan Boza's World" in the Ollantay Gallery, New York, U.S.A
