* December 6, 1995: Established as Diocese of Kericho from the
Diocese of Nakuru . When the diocese was founded, it had two deaneries; Kericho and Bomet, and 10 parishes. Bishop Anyolo established 6 more parishes and since Bishop Okombo took over on 23rd May 2003, he has created four more parishes making them twenty in number. There are now three deaneries.Leadership
