Gary Anderson (born
18 September ,1967 inLondon ) is a former track and road cyclist fromNew Zealand who won an Olympic Bronze Medal. He finished third in the men's 4000m individual pursuit at the1992 Olympic Games inBarcelona ,Spain . Anderson also won a total of 8 medals at theCommonwealth Games . His success in his sport is all the more remarkable due to suffering from a heart defect which can make his heart race when under stress.In addition to his medals above he also achieved the following Games placings:
