Bombay Chronicle

Bombay Chronicle was an English-language newspaper [ [http://www.worldcatlibraries.org/wcpa/top3mset/38481451 WorldCat libraries] ] , started in 1910 by Sir Pherozeshah Mehta (1845-1915), a prominent lawyer, who later became the president of the Indian National Congress in 1890, [ [http://www.aicc.org.in/role_of_press_in_india%E2%80%99s_struggle_for_freedom.php ROLE OF PRESS IN INDIA'S STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM] ] and a member of the Bombay Legislative Council in 1893.
