Hammett Pinhey Hill (
December 18 1876 – ) was anOntario lawyer and political figure. He representedOttawa West in theLegislative Assembly of Ontario from 1919 to 1923 as a Conservative member.He was born in
Ottawa , the son of Hammett Pinhey Hill and Margaret Christie, who was the granddaughter of DoctorAlexander James Christie . Hill was educated in Ottawa and at Toronto University. In 1907, he married Beatrice Sara Lindsay. He served as a lieutenant in the Army Service Corps. Hill was the author of "Robert Randall and the Lebreton Flats", which described the controversy around the sale of theLebreton Flats property formerly owned byRobert Randal .References
