History

Conceived in 1994 and officially established in 1998, Veritas is a non-denominational private Christian school serving the greater Jackson area. The campus consists of 30,000 square feet of buildings located at the former Colonial Heights Baptist Church building on Old Canton Road in Jackson. Accreditation and Affiliation

Veritas is accredited by the Mississippi Private School Association. Veritas is also a member school in the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Veritas participates in football, softball, soccer, basketball, track and cross country.

Football games are currently played at Smith Wills Stadium, in Jackson, because the school does not have a field of its own.
