Levon Sayan

Levon Sayan or Levon Sanosyan is a French-Armenian tenor, impresario and producer.

Levon Sayan was born in Provance, France. He served at French army in Indochina. The career of a classical singer he started in 1966. Sayan recorded his first disc with Renée Doria. As a tenor he singed in "Rigoletto", "Faust", "Carmen" operas.

Also he was the impresario of Liza Minnelli, Placido Domingo and Mario del Monaco, and he is widely known as the long-time impresario and friend of Charles Aznavour.

In May 23, 2003, during the special reception, president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan honored him by Khorenatsi medal. [ [http://news.president.am/rus/?sub=news&day=21&month=05&year=2003 President.am News] ] In 2006 he received the "Special prize" of Armenian National Music Award.
