MultiCharts is professional technical analysis platform with advanced analytics for futures, stocks and FOREX trading. It allows traders to plot multiple data series of different time frames and symbols from multiple data feeds in the same chart window. Traders can also mix time-based and count-based charts, or insert bids, asks and trades on the same chart.

MultiCharts is flexible. It allows traders to import and customize any existing TradeStation EasyLanguage indicators or strategies. These can be back-tested and optimized based on the user's inputs.

Charting

MultiCharts offers an extensive range of conventional chart types: candlesticks, bars, lines, dots, histograms, invisible bars, etc. The Volume Profile chart displays information that is not obvious from standard volume data. Charts support time-based (second, minute, hour, day, week, month, quarter, year) and count-based compressions (tick, the number of trades, the number of contracts traded, price movement in points). MultiCharts lets you easily plot charts for any custom compression, for instance, 3 seconds, 20 ticks, 1000 contracts or 10 points.

Analytics

MultiCharts includes over 200 pre-built studies for in-depth analysis of the market. It also provides a broad range of drawing tools to highlight trends, patterns, break-outs and other important set-ups.

Strategy Back-Testing and Optimization

Traders can use MultiCharts to create their own trading signals in EasyLanguage-compatible language and test them on history data before risking real money. There are over 80 pre-built trading signals, all of which can be easily modified.

Automated Trading

MultiCharts can execute signals from multiple charts and machines. Visual and sound alerts are used to trace order status.

Powerful Data Management

MultiCharts' local quote management system collects all the data transmitted by any datafeed. It handles all aspects of data maintenance and provides tools for managing the database and symbol list.

MultiCharts supports free quotes as well as streaming data from the leading data providers, including Interactive Brokers (TWS), eSignal, DTN IQFeed, OpenTick, QFeed, Patsystems, MarketCast, CyberTrader, Tenfore and many others. Some traders dislike not having an integrated datafeed. Others appreciate being able to choose the one they want.

Add-on Tools

MultiCharts has over 280 pre-built indicators, signals and drawing tools. In addition, MultiCharts is compatible with add-on software and techniques from third-party companies. These extra resources can help traders make better decisions should they decide to use them.

Development History

Early versions of MultiCharts were sometimes unreliable. Later versions have proven to be more stable. Currently, the company offers a complimentary 30-day trial to new users.
