Acesander

Acesander (Greek polytonic|Ακέσανδρος) wrote a history of Cyrene. [Schol. "ad Apoll." iv. 1561, 1750] [Schol. "ad Pind. Pyth." iv. "init." 57] Plutarch speaks of a work of his respecting Libya ("polytonic|περί Λιβύης"), [Plutarch, "Symp." v. 2. § 8] which may possibly be the same work as the history of Cyrene. The time at which he lived is unknown. [Citation
