Nordbindalen

Nordbindalen is a former municipality in Nordland county, Norway.

The parish of Bindal had to be divided in two municipalities January 1, 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt), because it was split between the counties of Nordland and Nord-Trøndelag.

Nordbindalen was merged with Sørbindalen in 1852, to create the new municipality of Bindal (and the district of Sørbindalen was then transferred from Nord-Trøndelag county to Nordland county).
