Todmorden High School is a comprehensive school on "Ewood Lane" set in the Yorkshire town of Todmorden, in the Calderdale LEA. The school has specialist Arts College status.

Todmorden High School

Todmorden High School is located in the small market town of Todmorden and plays a big part in the local community.Todmorden high school op-end in the 1950's and was formally Todmorden Grammar School located on Ferney Lee road. The the school was relocated to Elwood lane and is now a comprehensive school named 'Todmorden High School'. In 2003 the school became a Visual Art's college. In 2006/7 The former Headteacher (Mr E.W. Collins) got the school the name of the most improved school in calderdale In 2007 the school sore the new take over of headteacher and is now Mr Ottley O'Connor.The school is currently going through a 'Financial crisis'. The school was sed to be closing down in the current year of 2008 if exam results did not improve. And that year the school got 58% A*-C Grade's. With one student getting 14 GCSE'S including 11-A*s and 1A. Two students got The best R.S and Media Studies results In the country.
