Ricardo Bruni Marx

Ricardo Burni Marx, the Brazilian boomerang thrower and enthusiast of the sport, born in São Paulo, Brazil on July 12 of 1974. His first contact with boomerangs happened in 1990 when he moved to a new house near Ibirapuera Park and walked there with his dog "Otto".

In 1994, the internet started being popular in Brazil and he made the first Brazilian website about the sport and started making contacts with the best throwers and crafters around the world.

Their first time competing was in Kiel, Germany - 2002 at the "Kangaroo" international team, they finished in 12th place of 24 teams. After this Ricardo went to Ohio in 2003 to the Annual Tournament finishing in 8th place, back again in 2004 to Ohio to the US Nationals finishing in 2nd place at the intermediate team level and 1st place at Distance as "American Distance Champion of 2004" (using one boomerang from Jason Smucker).
