The Malabar Express (Malayalam: മലബാര് എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ്) is a train service in India, named after the Malabar coast, the anothersouth-western coastal region of India from Mangalore to Kochi. As the name suggests, it connects the Malabar region in north Kerala to the south. This train runs between Mangalorecentral and TrivandrumCentral. The train No:16629 starts from Trivandrum at 18.30 hours and reaches Mangalore at 10.10 hours the next day. In the return direction No:16630 it leaves Mangalore at 18.15 hours and reaches Trivandrum at 09.10 hours the next day. It has 22 rakes with 13 sleeper coahes, 2 3TAC, one 2TAC, one First Class and 4 second sitter and one brake van cum second sitter
