"Rock Dream" is a collaborative live album between Merzbow (Japanese noise musician Masami Akita) and Japanese experimental doom band Boris. The 2CD release consists of material recorded at a live show from 2006 entitled "Boris with Merzbow Oneman". The Southern Lord version has a die cut cover and is limited to 5000 (machine numbered). "Flower Sun Rain" is a cover of the Japanese super-group PYG. The vinyl version contains the bonus track "Dyno-Soar" which is not available on the CD version. According to Southern Lord, a little over 3800 were pressed. Southern Lord carried the black vinyl version (limited to 1000) through their mailorder. There are also 1000 on red vinyl and 1000 on purple vinyl. The other colors of the remaining 800 include marble orange.
