Biography
Dolnik was born in Sverdlovsk in 1938. In 1960 graduated from Leningrad state University.For 30 years he has been the chief of ornithlolgical station "Rybachy" (literally "Fishers`" - after a village, where it's situated).He gained a
PhD degree in 1967, and the Sc.D in 1976. He has been a professor since 1983.Works
He has about 200 written works. He is the author (in cooperation with Kozlov M.A.) of a textbook on zoology for secondary schools.He is best known to the general public for a series of articles concerning human ethology (1980-90s). Thesearticles later were compiled into a book "The mischievous child of the biosphere" (1994).
