Francis White (Virginia)

Francis White (died 1826) was a U.S. Representative from Virginia.

Born near Winchester, Virginia, White attended school in Winchester. He engaged in agricultural pursuits.

White was elected a member of the Virginia state house of delegates, 1794 from 1809 to 1813, and 1818.

White was elected as a Federalist to the Thirteenth Congress (March 4, 1813 - March 3, 1815). He served as member of the Virginia Senate from 1823 to 1824. He was appointed sheriff of Hampshire County, Virginia (now West Virginia), on December 9, 1823, by the Governor.

He died in Hampshire County in November 1826.
