The office of Vice-President of the
Board of Trade was a junior ministerial position in the government of theUnited Kingdom . The office was created in1786 and abolished in1868 . From1848 onwards the office was held concurrently with that ofPaymaster-General . The office was succeeded by that ofParliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade .*
