Think Big (store)

Think Big was a catalog retail concept and eventually a retail store that sold everyday items scaled up. Among its offerings were giant pencils, erasers, rulers and paper clips.

Think Big flourished in the 1980s, when the scaled-up aesthetic was popular. Other companies, such as Swatch, also created comically large versions of their wares.

The Think Big store was located on 390 West Broadway, in the SoHo area of New York. Their second store was at The South Street Seaport in downtown New York, which was owned by The Rouse Company. There was also a location in downtown Baltimore's "Inner Harbor" area, known as HarborPlace, also owned by The Rouse Company. The stores closed in the mid-1990's.
