Joy Whitlock (Born August 13 1980) is a Christian musician and songwriter who has recently appeared in the Contemporary Christian market. Her songs primarily consist of a Folk/Indie blend. She has recorded and released one EP , entitled "The Fake EP", on Ardent Records in Memphis. Her first LP entitled "God and a Girl" was released on September 16, 2008.

Joy grew up in several different areas of Mississippi and spent a few years in Illinois as well. She moved to Memphis at the age of 17, and now considers it her home. Joy cites a trip to Nashville to see the Lilith Fair tour as her inspiration to learn to play music.
