Leland Humbertson is the current Editor in Chief of
The Stentor , the student-run publication ofLake Forest College . Humbertson served as News Editor for nearly two years before being elevated to the position. His other duties at the paper include overseeingThe Chive , which he helped create.Growing up in
Woodstock, IL , Humbertson earned many prestigious awards early in life, including the "Most Talented Student" award in Mrs. Scott's third grade class and the "Most Likely to Become President" recognition upon graduating fromOlson Middle School . His work experience in Woodstock includesDonley's Wild West Town and theWoodstock Opera House . In his six years of service at the Wild West Town, it is estimated that he drove the miniatureC. P. Huntington locomotive in a circle 6,351 times and was exploded in a building, causing him to lose his pants, 342 times. At the Opera House, Humbertson became adept at hiding from his bosses and driving the officialWoodstock Opera House Razor Scooter during crab soccer games in the building's basement.Since being ordained by the
Universal Life Church in 2005, Humbertson has unofficially married three people. He currently resides in Lake Forest and enjoys reading dirty limericks in his room.
