Leland Humbertson

Leland Humbertson is the current Editor in Chief of The Stentor, the student-run publication of Lake Forest College. Humbertson served as News Editor for nearly two years before being elevated to the position. His other duties at the paper include overseeing The Chive, which he helped create.

Growing up in Woodstock, IL, Humbertson earned many prestigious awards early in life, including the "Most Talented Student" award in Mrs. Scott's third grade class and the "Most Likely to Become President" recognition upon graduating from Olson Middle School. His work experience in Woodstock includes Donley's Wild West Town and the Woodstock Opera House. In his six years of service at the Wild West Town, it is estimated that he drove the miniature C. P. Huntington locomotive in a circle 6,351 times and was exploded in a building, causing him to lose his pants, 342 times. At the Opera House, Humbertson became adept at hiding from his bosses and driving the official Woodstock Opera House Razor Scooter during crab soccer games in the building's basement.

Since being ordained by the Universal Life Church in 2005, Humbertson has unofficially married three people. He currently resides in Lake Forest and enjoys reading dirty limericks in his room.
