The Scope is a free English language alternative newsweekly based in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

First published on July 6, 2006, it is Newfoundland's only bi-weekly online and print alternative publication. Every second Thursday 14,000 copies are distributed to more than 250 locations across the St. John's metropolitan area.
