Manels

MANELS is a leading retailer and manufacturer of leather goods in the Philippines.

Manels, starting as a grocery/pharmacy in 1964, derives its name from its founders Manuel Siggaoat and Nelia Villarama Siggaoat. It is one of the pioneers in the Philippines leather industry and has remained one of the country's most recognizable brands.

Over the years, Manels has tapped the following celebrities as its endorsers:

In 2011, Manels hosted its 2nd model search with the concept "back-to-school" where the winner will be given a 1 year modelling/ brand ambassador contract, a photo shoot and ad and 20,000php worth of gift certificates. The group of 3 (composed of 2 girls and one boy) or more should come up with a modern "back to school" photo shoot endorsing any Manels product, shoes, bags, belts, etc. Many have executed their photo shoots well, but only one winner was chosen and it was the group of 3 which came up with a great endorsement of the Manels product and had great styling, also, executed the concept well. These three are namely:

• Katrina D. Aurellano, 18, BF Homes Paranaque studies at DLSU
• Roncel B. Camins, 18, Las Pinas, studies at the UPHSD
• Kimberly G. Espiritu, 18, BF Homes Paranaque, studies at SFU

The three are currently signed with Manels and now Brand Ambassadors of the product.
