Vocabulary OneSource

The Warfighter Data Vocabulary One Source system, as a part of the USAF C2 Constellation Service-Based-Architecture, provides visible and understandable access to diverse data vocabularies from across the Department of Defense. One Source serves developers, integrators, managers, and community-of-interest (COI) participants as a center point for searching, navigating, annotating, and mapping data terms extracted from military standards, programs of record, and COIs. The use of this system promotes awareness, cross-collaboration, reuse, increased compatibility, and decreased complexity of data vocabularies, saving time and costs associated with integration, mediation, and development.
