Wedell-Williams Model 45 was aracing aircraft built in the United States in 1933. It was a development of designerJames Wedell 's earlier Model 44, although both he and company financierHarry P. Williams were killed in separate air crashes before the aircraft could be completed. The Model 45 flew for the first time onJune 28 1933, and was donated toLouisiana State University , where it was eventually scrapped.It was a low-wing cantilever monoplane with tailwheel undercarriage, the main units of which were retractable.
