All Parties Democratic Movement

Most notable is the absence of the Pakistan Peoples Party of Benazir Bhutto. In September 2007, 35 leaders of the party were arrested to prevent agitation against Pervez Musharraf. APDM leaders announced their MPs and MPPs would resign on 2 October 2007.
