Oschino Vasquez is an American rapper, from West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Oschino was one half of the duo Oschino & Sparks. Oschino & Sparks signed to Roc-A-Fella Records in 1999. While under Roc-A-Fella, they became members of the group State Property. State Prop was a Philadelphia rap collective that also included Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Peedi Crakk and the Young Gunz. The group put out 2 albums and 2 films under Roc-A-Fella. Oschino played a major part in every State Property project.

Other than Beanie Sigel and his fellow State Property members, Oschino has recorded songs Jadakiss. He also laid verses to tracks produced by Kanye West, Just Blaze, Chad West and Timbaland.

During the Roc

In 2000, Oschino got his first time to shine live on the radio. Roc-A-Fella was live on Hot 97 and Jay-Z was introducing The Dynasty and all the new members to Roc-A-Fella. Memphis Bleek and Beanie Sigel sparked it off with freestyles and everyone else joined in. Other than Oschino, it was the first time people in New York City got to hear Freeway, Sparks, Young Chris and H. Money Bags.

In 2001, Oschino, along with State Property and the Rocafella camp, had beef with Nas and D-Block. Several freestyles and disses exchanged back and forth around this time. Eventually, both of the battles died down.

In 2002, State Property released their debut album and "State Property." Oschino had major roles in both "State Property" films. In 2003, State P. dropped The Chain Gang, Vol. 2 which introduced Peedi Crakk, a new signee to the Roc. Oschino & Sparks never got to put an album out under Roc-A-Fella, though both appeared on several mixtapes with their label mates.

While Beanie Sigel was in jail, it is said that none of the State Property members except for Oschino came to visit him. Beans told Dame to pass the word on that State Property was no longer in effect, until after he was released. When the split between Roc-A-Fella owners occurred, Dame made it clear that Beanie's intentions were to move State Property to his new Dame Dash Music Group.

After the Roc

After the Roc-A-Fella split, it was said that the whole State Property would move with Beanie Sigel and Dame Dash to DDMG in 2005. Oschino was the only member to move with Beans, while everybody else from State Property stayed with Roc-A-Fella Records. It was also stated in a Philadelphia newspaper that he struggled with alcohol and drugs.

Today, Beanie Sigel is back with Roc-A-Fella, while Oschino is an unsigned artist. Sparks has his own label, Collossal Enterntainment, under Koch Records. Freeway, Peedi Crakk & Young Gunz never left Roc-A-Fella. Freeway, Peedi Crakk, Young Chris and Beanie Sigel are all working on solo albums. Omillio Sparks recently released his solo album, "The Payback" on August 28, 2007. Oschino has released a series of mix tapes, the latest being "4 1/2 hard". A volume 5, which will contain a CD and DVD, is set for release sometime this year.
